With a love for the visual arts and a compassionate heart for people, Dr. Jessica Tran pursued a profession that helps restore and preserve sight.
Dr. Tran earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2007. During her time in Chicago, she trained alongside ophthalmologists who specialized in glaucoma, cornea, and oculoplastic surgery.
Dr. Tran has experience with specialty contact lenses fittings (such as astigmatism, kerataconus, and corneal transplants) and multi-focal contact lens fittings.
She provides nonsurgical, diagnostic and therapeutic care of the eye including medical eye examinations, refractive surgery consultations, pre, and post-operative care, treatment of minor eye injuries and infections, and manages ocular diseases such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Tran also volunteers in her local community and abroad– providing eye care to impoverished areas and to those in need.
